By Airplane:

Generally, passengers often prefer to fly from the US, as there are so much more options for flights available all year round; especially, departing from Miami. It is considered to be the most convenient route because of the comfortable distance and the fact that it’s a non-stop flight. So, if you’re anywhere else in the world, the best way to get to Grand Cayman is flying from Miami.

Other airline carriers offer flights from different cities in the US like Atlanta, New York, Boston, Detroit, Houston, Dallas, Minneapolis and Chicago. Other worldwide routes include flights from London, Toronto, Havana, Montego Bay, Kingston, La Ceiba, Nassau and Panama City. Be advised to check before you plan. There aren’t flights available all year round from most of these locations.

A lot of Internet services (like findacruise.com, cruisedirect.com or top-cruise-deals.com) can guide you (and make a reservation for you) through the Cruise you think is the most convenient choice for you to visit the Cayman Islands. Most of them depart from Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, so it’s a given that you should first fly to Florida, and then select your cruise of choice.

Bear in mind that most of them let you visit the island for a day (or maybe two days tops), as they have a schedule for the cruise to tour most of the Caribbean.

If you wish to experience a complete visit to the Cayman Islands, we recommend that you fly there and stay for at least 1 week.
